I have known Rex Chambers for nine years. From our first conversation, he impressed me with his common sense approach to confronting life’s challenges. A successful businessman who has raised a family is called to become a priest. That is something! He uses his extensive background to explain scripture in a way that makes sense to me. I never feel that I am being preached to; he shares his wisdom with me. Rex is easy to talk to; he listens, he understands, he has been there.
I can comprehend Rex’s commitment to a passion; his call to the priesthood. I am awed, however, by his ability to remain focused on that passion, at the highest level, year after year. Rex gets his strength from Dana. They are a remarkable team serving the Lord and their community and they are a continual inspiration to me. They lead by example.
