Venable
Recently I had the good fortune to be with a group of individuals with whom both Jane and I have come to embrace as some of the most wonderful folks we met through our past association and involvement as members of St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church.

I was drawn into an ongoing conversation about one of our priest, Fr Rex Chambers.  There is a serious concern that his friends and followers are on the edge of a great loss.  A loss of a dedicated priest, a truly sincere, devout priest who through riveting messages, and uplifting and memorable services has provided a reason to be glad to be at his services as well as find him as an intimate friend.

Rex has a strong and sincere strength in pastoral care.  I have had a personal experience in this regard.  He is always there when you need him.

It was the general consensus among the group, that without asking for it, Rex needed our help to allow him to continue his ministry of love and commitment on a full time basis. It was decided that all present at that time would participate in providing reference letters that would help keep him in a ministerial and pastoral care capacity.  This is what he would prefer to do.  His present limited activity has put both he and Dana in a precarious financial position.

Jane and I have been in the Episcopal Church all of our lives. We are now retired and believe that Fr Rex is as good in his role as any priest we have ever met.

Sincerely,
Frank & Jane Venable
