I am a retired Presbyterian (U.S.A) minister who has known the Rev. Rex Chambers for over 12 years. Because there is no Presbyterian Church in our
area, my wife and I have been attending St. Johns Episcopal Church in Breckenridge, Colorado. We chose to attend there because of the Spiritual Life and vitality that we felt. Much of that Spiritual feeling and awareness has been brought by the priest Rex Chambers.
Over my 52 years of ministry, I have had many Associates and have know many outstanding pastors/teachers/preachers/administrators. Rex Chambers is one of the best. He truly is one who has been called by God to share The Gospel with a hurting world . With his warm teddy bear hugs ( he is 6 ‘ 4"), his deep love of the message he brings and his sense of calling, he has a power and love for God’s people.
He loves to preach and to teach. Because of his business background, he has an administrative skill in finance and organization. Perhaps his greatest strength is in pastoral care both in visitation in the homes as well as in hospitals and nursing homes. He is tireless in his work schedules and is most alive when he is with the people of the church.
