This letter is to serve as reference for Reverend Rex Chambers with regards to his work at Saint John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Breckenridge, Colorado and Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Dillon, Colorado.
Our family has known Father Rex for over 15 years. We have always found Father Rex to be positive, reliable, dedicated, caring and hard working.
We have witnessed Father Rex transform as he recognized his calling to become a priest. He showed grace and stayed consistent throughout the entire process.
Father Rex showed his love for his calling by his tireless outreach work for people with health issues. He visited countless people who were bedridden and in need of blessings and a prepared meal. He also followed up on them until they were well or getting the help they needed.
Father Rex is responsible for the start up of Saint Francis Episcopal Church in Dillon Colorado. He recognized the need for an Episcopal church on the eastern side of Summit County and made it happen.
Father Rex was consistently warm and welcoming and relatable to all who attended Saint John’s Episcopal Church and Saint Francis Episcopal Church. This came out in his sermons as well. He had genuine concern and care for all of the parishioners, and made each one feel special.
We keep Father Rex in our prayers and know that he will touch other lives as he shares God’s love with many other people.
